Welcome!

Hello! Welcome to the new school year! :)  I'm excited to be your child's teacher.  Before we start our fun filled days of learning, here are a few reminders!

1.  Please send important items with your child in his/her backpack daily: Including diapers, wipes, change of clothes (severl changes if your child is toilet training), notes for me or paperwork sent home!  Please be sure and check the backpack daily! 

2.  If your child is going to be late or absent for the day please just shoot me a quick text and let me know. 

3.  If your child is showing signs of illness including (eg. fever, vomitting, diarrhea, rash) please keep them home for the day and contact me to keep me informed.  This will help prevent the spread of illness among other students and staff.  I will be sending home a picture guide with your student showing what types of things to look for to keep your child home when they are sick.

4.  If your child has any dietary restrictions or health concerns please let me know ASAP! 

Raising a Reader

We are starting a new reading program this year called "Raising a Reader"  This program will allow your student to check out a weekly reading bag.  Reading bags allow you to set aside time to read with your chlld everyday.   Books will be checked out and checked back in each week when your child comes to school.  I will be sending home more information about the program in August!
